TACTICAL FIXED BLADE COMBAT KNIFE. The COMBATIVE EDGE SALUS is the first fixed blade model to be offered by Combative Edge. The Full Tang Knife has a blade length of 5.11 (13 cm) made of N690Co Stainless Steel with a Gunmetal DLC Coating. The SALUS comes with Black Textured G10 Handle Scales which can be removed to give you a thinner profile knife.

The overall length is 10.62 (27 cm) and weighs 10.75 oz (305 g) ounces making the SALUS a suitable survival knife, as well as for tactical applications. Packaged in black COMBATIVE EDGE Collectors Box. Made from well-balanced Single Piece Full-Tang, Austrian BÖHLER N690Co Stainless Steel, the SALUS blade is executed in a mid-height saber grind with forward swedge for good slicing and piercing performance while retaining the durability required in a combat knife.

This version comes with a utilitarian Drop Point profile that provides plenty of clean cutting plain edge. The Blade is coated in Gunmetal colored Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) which is durable, non-reflective, and corrosion resistant for enhanced performance and discreet use.

N690Co is a Cobalt Stainless Steel perfect for making outdoor knives. N690Co is a Stainless steel with a very high carbon content and added cobalt to make blades that are heavily stressed (tactical, bushcraft, hunting knives, etc). It can reach hardnesses of over 60Hrc, and the addition of cobalt, a very hard and heat resistant metal allows this grade to achieve excellent wear resistance properties. N690Co Qualities of N690Co are great strength and ductility, high wear resistance, good machinability, dimensional stability, polishability, and high corrosion resistance.

The COMBATIVE EDGE SALUS has ergonomic Black G10 Handles with textured traction dimples ensuring a secure grip in adverse conditions. G10 offers great durability with minimal weight and corrosion resistance. Attached securely to the full tang of the blade with nickel coated stainless steel hex screws hardware, the handle scales are contoured for a more ergonomic grip with a pronounced finger guard for optimal security in combat situations. An exposed portion of the tang at the pommel can be used as an impact tool and has a machined hole for lanyard attachment.

The handle on the SALUS offers multiple hand positions due to the double finger choil, and works for multiple hand sizes from small to extra-large due to its narrow and nimble maneuverability in the hands, it fits like a glove. Also is extremely comfortable in reverse grip. Slight scuffs on PVD Coating from taking knife out of sheath, otherwise pristine. Stored in an airtight, dust-free, smoke-free??
